          Kathmandu,: A talk program on the immortal exploits of President KIM IL SUNG to mark his 103rd Birth Anniversary which is celebrated as Sun’s Day by the progressive and peace-loving people of the world was jointly organized by National Memorial Commission for President KIM IL SUNG and Comrade KIM JONG IL and CPN (ML) on April 9.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

             General Secretary of CPN (ML) and Chairman of the Commission Hon. C.P. Mainali from the chair praised President KIM IL SUNG and his contributions.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

            Ambassador of DPR Korea H .E. Kim Yong Hak thanked the organizer for organizing such great historic day and assured to strengthen Korea-Nepal friendship in his capacity.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

            President of Nepal Journalists’ Association and Senior Vice-Chairman of Nepal-Korea Friendship Association Dr. Manju Ratna Sakya said that due to political stability, DPRK is developing very fast in each and every sectors under the dynamic leadership of Supreme leader Marshal KIM JONG UN.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

              Futher, Dr. Sakya said that DPRK is  also the country which do not have corruption and requested to all to visit DPRK once in a life time because Seeing is believing.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

           The Chairman of Nepal Literary Forum for the Study of Songun Policy Mr. Shanker Bharati said that Nepal and DPRK relations are improving day by day in literature sectors also.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

            Vice-Chairman of Nepal Committee to Promote Reunification of Korea  and Former Joint Secretary  Binod Adhikari briefed the heroic struggle of the Korean people against Japanese colonialism and American imperialism in 1945 and 1950-53 Korean war under the brilliant commandership of President Kim Il Sung.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

            Polit-bureau Member of CPN (ML) Comrade Kumar Belbase and Member Secretary of the Commission Mr. Phanindra Raj Pant also spoke on President Kim Il Sung’s extraordinary leadership to build Korea a strong socialist nation in the world.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

            Likewise, Nepal Association for Supporting Songun Policy headed by Mr. Manik Lama organized a special function with film-show and book exhibition on Korea to mark the 103rd Brilliant Sun’s Day-April 15, the sacred birthday   of President Kim Il Sung. The programme was organized at Hotel Himalayan Horizon, Dhulikhel, Kavre on April 10th.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

            General Secretary of CPN (Maoist) Comrade Netra Bikram Chand "Biplab" was the Chief Guest of the function.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

            At the program, Comrade Netra Bikram Chand "Biplab" enthusiastically stressed that Nepal has to learn many things from the Juche idea and Songun policy coined and practically developed by President Kim Il Sung and Comrade Kim jong Il on the way to save sovereignty, dignity and independent development of the Nepalese society.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

   Special Guest Ambassador of DPR of Korea H. E. Kim Yong Hak expressed happiness on the mutual friendly relations between Nepal and DPRK.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

            Standing Committee Member of CPN Maoist Comrade Dharmendra Bastola said that he had an opportunity to witness DPRK’s all-round development under the farsighted leadership of President Kim Il Sung and Comrade Kim Jong Il, which has impressed on him a lot.   <\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

            Vice-Director of Asian Regional Institute of Juche Idea, Senior Vice-Chairman of Nepal-Korea Friendship Association and President of Nepal Journalist’s Association Dr. Manju Ratna Sakya who was the Honorable Guest of the special function said that he, after studying Juche Idea coined by President Kim Il Sung for about 40 years and receiving Ph. D. Degree from DPR of Korea the same philosophy, is still learning Juche idea and Songun policy and not yet completed.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

           Further Dr. Sakya highlighted on the importance of Great Juche Idea and said  President KIM IL SUNG is  still the Great Leader of entire Korean people as well as progressive people of the world.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

          NJA supremo  Dr. Sakya also said  that the contribution made by President KIM IL SUNG will be written in golden figures in word history.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

            Former Vice Chairman of Kavre District Mr. Kancha Ram Tamang and CPN Maoist Kavre District Chief Comrade Lekhraj "Agrim" expressed their great happiness for being able to host this historic birthday celebration of the great President Kim Il Sung who dedicated all his life only for the cause of the humanity as a whole in this beautiful and attractive city of world tourist destination.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

            Chief guest, Special guest, Honorable guest and other dignitaries were welcomed by traditional Khada and garlands by well-known historic personality Comrade Bhawani Haiju (Brother of Karna Haiju, Bhaktapur) and Ms. Ranjita Lama and others.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

            A letter of appreciation to the First Secretary of the Workers’ Party of Korea, First Chairman of National Defense Commission of the DPRK and Supreme Commander of the Korean People’s Army His Excellency Marshal KIM JONG UN was unanimously adopted and handed over to his representative in Nepal H.E. Kim Yong Hak in both the functions.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n

International song was aired in the functions where one minute silence was marked  presenting deep tributes to President Kim Il Sung in both the functions in Kathmandu and Dhulikhel also.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n
