 Sun’s Day Observed<\/span><\/p>\n

                 Former Deputy Prime Minister and Vice-Chairman<\/p>\n

of CPN (UML) Comrade Bamdev Gautam said –“19 years ago I had an opportunity to<\/p>\n

meet President KIM IL SUNG in Pyongyang<\/st1:place> together with Comrade Madhav Kumar<\/p>\n

Nepal<\/st1:place> and Modnath Prasit. It was my first foreign visit except India<\/st1:place> and first<\/p>\n

opportunity to meet, talk and lunch together with such a great communist leader<\/p>\n

of a communist party. I could not meet Marx, Lenin, Angel, Mao in my life but<\/p>\n

when I met Comrade KIM IL SUNG, I felt as if I met all of them. When we talked<\/p>\n

I felt as if we were receiving Fatherly love and care from him. President<\/p>\n

 mentioned us that every communist party should<\/p>\n

go ahead according to the special situation of its own country and supported<\/p>\n

CPN UML’s the then principle of supporting constitutional monarchy based on the<\/p>\n

special condition in Nepal<\/st1:place>. After the liberation of Korea<\/st1:place>, President said-<\/p>\n

Russia<\/st1:country-region> wanted to help DPRK by establishing some big factories in Korea<\/st1:place>, but<\/p>\n

President Kim IL Sung asked if it could help by establishing a paper and pencil<\/p>\n

factory, because to disseminate the Juche idea and to sustain the peoples’<\/p>\n

right, country-men should be educated and for that paper and pencil are<\/p>\n

pre-requisites.”<\/p>\n

                Vice-Chairman Comrade Gautam was<\/p>\n

recalling his, meeting with President Kim IL Sung at a special talk program<\/p>\n

organized by Nepal Journalists Association for the Study of Juche Idea and<\/p>\n

Songun Policy to celebrate the 101st Sun’s Day in Kathmandu<\/st1:place>. He continued<\/p>\n

–“American<\/p>\n

Imperialist is now conducting activities in its strategic plan to dismantle<\/p>\n

North Korea<\/st1:place> by continuing all-round blockade.In my opinion this 21st century is the<\/p>\n

century of the<\/p>\n

end of the imperialists all over the world. President Kim Il Sun’s last wish<\/p>\n

was to reunify the two Koreas<\/st1:place>. I wish his last desire will be fulfilled by the<\/p>\n

present leadership and Korea<\/st1:place> will be still prosperous and develop its socialism<\/p>\n

still stronger and cultured and the cordial relationship existing between our<\/p>\n

two countries and peoples will remain forever.”<\/p>\n

and Chairman of President KIM IL SUNG and Comrade KIM JONG IL National Memorial<\/p>\n

Commission of Nepal<\/st1:place> Comrade C.P. Mainali briefed on the immortal contribution<\/p>\n

of President KIM IL SUNG and said that he always opposed foreign domination and<\/p>\n

flunky and puppet character. Nepalese political leaders should learn from him<\/p>\n

if we have to stand in our own independent character.<\/p>\n

                Ambassador Extra-ordinary and<\/p>\n

Plenipotentiary of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea<\/st1:country-region> to Nepal<\/st1:place> H.E. Mr.<\/p>\n

Kim Yong Su, thanking to the organizer and political leaders and people of<\/p>\n

Nepal<\/st1:place> for extending their continuous support and solidarity to the just struggle<\/p>\n

of the Korean people, said that President KIM IL SUNG dedicated his whole life<\/p>\n

in the extremely difficult situation to emancipate the Korean people and to<\/p>\n

liberate Korea<\/st1:place>. Briefing the on-going extremely dangerous situation in the<\/p>\n

Korean peninsula due to the US<\/st1:place> and its puppet regimes’ policy of economic<\/p>\n

blockade and domination, Ambassador said –our people and army are ready to demolish<\/p>\n

their maneuver based on our strength developed by our own and able to sustain<\/p>\n

our independence under the leadership  of<\/p>\n

Marshal KIM JONG UN.<\/p>\n

                Chairman of the special function<\/p>\n

and President of Nepal journalists Association for the Study of Juche idea and<\/p>\n

Songun Policy and Senior Vice Chairman of Nepal-Korea Friendship Association,<\/p>\n

who is also Director of Asian Regional Institute of Juche Idea Dr. Manju Ratna<\/p>\n

Sakya said that he would love visiting DPRK every year apart from visiting<\/p>\n

Pakistan<\/st1:country-region>, Myanmar<\/st1:country-region>, China<\/st1:place> and requested all the present dignitaries and journalists<\/p>\n

to visit DPRK once in their life, because he mentioned “seeing is believing”<\/p>\n

                Dr. Sakya recalling his long<\/p>\n

face-to-face interview with President KIM IL SUNG in 1978 displayed full text<\/p>\n

of his interview published in Pyongyang Times and Certificate of Honor<\/p>\n

presented to him by President KIM IL SUNG. Dr. Sakya also assured  – ‘ the Korean<\/p>\n

people will receive full<\/p>\n

support by NJA, journalists friends and Nepalese people  in their struggle to<\/p>\n

sustain  independence and peace  against the imperialist domination’ and<\/p>\n

sincerely<\/p>\n

thanked all who participated this valuable celebration and supported the Korean<\/p>\n

peoples’ just cause.<\/p>\n

                A letter of appreciation signed<\/p>\n

by NJA President Dr. Sakya to Marshal KIM JONG UN on behalf of the participants<\/p>\n

was sent to Pyongyang<\/st1:place>, DPR of Korea through H.E. Ambassador, which was read-out<\/p>\n

by Mr. Phanindra Raj Pant, who was the Master for today’s Ceremony.<\/p>\n
